These glasses, known as "biquinhos" (spikes), were first produced in Portugal in 1901 by the New Marinha Grande Glass Factory. This type of glass was originally produced using manual cutting techniques, a process which was eventually replaced by the press method--a method which is still used today. Available in 4 different colours, these fashionable glasses are robust and have an undeniable classic charm.
